Ears Lowered Since 1969

I got a haircut today. It may be an abuse of your trust in me not to
waste your time by telling you about it here, so you have the option to
stop now.

Thanks.

I walked in under the recommendation of a porter at my dorm, and was
immediately met by an (overly) enthusiastic, short Scottish man who bid me
hello at least 20 times. He is the owner, and he's been in business at
that location for 29 years. "I've seen a lot of changes in 29 years" he
said, like he probably says to all the other people who come in and sit
down and get a haircut. But there was no time for conversation...

It was the fastest, most efficient, cheapest haircut I have ever
experienced. I wasn't sitting down for more than 12 minutes or so, and
that guy just buzzed around me with scissors and a come and suddenly lots
of my hair was on the floor. The cut was just as good as (if not better
than) my usual "hair stylist" manages in the states (no offense, Denny).
And it was only 6 pounds 50 pence, about 10 bucks. Good deal.

Chris
