		<description>It looks like the company that makes the voting machines used here in Wayne County, ES&#038;S, has admitted that in Lawrence County, Ohio, &lt;a href="http://www.irontontribune.com/articles/2007/11/08/news/news170.txt" rel="nofollow"&gt;the software was responsible for "flipping" the vote counts&lt;/a&gt;, erroneously declaring the wrong candidates as winners.

But I'm sure that couldn't have happened here, right?</description>

That was good!  Madison still has the big paper ballots (fortunately).  The whole "paperless voting" baffles me.  Who would design a system like that?  And if anyone would know how falible electronic equipment can be, it would be the designers/programmers, right?
